Scission-point Models

Scission-Point Models is a theoretical framework in nuclear fission physics that describes the dynamics and properties of fissioning nuclei at the point of scission, where the parent nucleus splits into two nascent fragments, by modeling the configuration, energy, and mass asymmetry of the system at the final stage of deformation prior to separation.
