Scenario-based Traffic Forecasting

Scenario-Based Traffic Forecasting is a traffic forecasting methodology that, as opposed to deterministic or probabilistic approaches, generates predictions by evaluating multiple plausible future states—defined through alternative assumptions about land use, socio-economic factors, transportation policies, and technological changes—to assess the sensitivity and robustness of traffic demand under varying conditions.
