Scattering From Obstacles
Scattering From Obstacles is an academic concept in wave physics denoting the phenomenon in which an incident acoustic wave undergoes redistribution in amplitude and direction due to the presence of impenetrable or inhomogeneous bodies in its propagation path, distinguished from other scattering mechanisms by its dependency on the geometric and material properties of discrete physical obstructions.
