Scale Modeling

Scale modeling is a methodological approach involving the construction of physical representations of a system at a reduced or enlarged scale. This technique permits the investigation of complex phenomena, properties, or behaviors by enabling observation and experimentation on a model that maintains essential geometric, kinematic, or dynamic similarity to the original system.
