Scaffold-based Vascularization

Scaffold-Based Vascularization is a tissue engineering strategy that employs biocompatible scaffolds to provide structural and biochemical cues for the spatial organization and ingrowth of vascular networks, distinguishing it from scaffold-free or in vivo angiogenic approaches by its reliance on engineered extracellular matrix analogs to direct neovascularization.
