Russian Negation
Russian Negation is a linguistic construct in the academic study of Russian syntax and semantics that systematically encodes the denial or absence of an action, state, or proposition through the use of the negative particle *ne* and, in certain constructions, the secondary negator *ni*, distinguishing it from negation in other Slavic languages by its specific morphosyntactic behavior and agreement patterns.
