Russian Cosmism

Russian Cosmism is a philosophical and cultural movement originating in late nineteenth- to early twentieth-century Russia that integrates scientific, ethical, and spiritual aspirations through the belief in humanity’s cosmic destiny, particularly the active transformation of nature, resurrection of the dead, and eventual conquest of space and death through technological and moral evolution.
