Runoff Nominations is a nomination process in which a two-stage selection mechanism is employed, wherein the first stage narrows the field to a subset of leading candidates and the second stage determines the final nominee through a subsequent round of voting or evaluation when no candidate achieves a required threshold in the initial stage.
