Route-specific Exposure Modeling

Route-Specific Exposure Modeling is a physiologically based compartmental modeling approach that quantifies the absorption, distribution, and clearance of substances by explicitly accounting for distinct exposure pathways—such as inhalation, dermal, or oral routes—thereby differentiating internal dose dynamics based on the anatomical and physiological mechanisms unique to each route.
