Root Dentinogenesis
Root Dentinogenesis is a biological process, within the domain of dental development, that specifically encompasses the formation and mineralization of dentin in the root portion of a tooth, distinguishing it from coronal dentinogenesis by its spatial and temporal association with Hertwig’s epithelial root sheath and the differentiating odontoblasts of the root pulp.
