Roof Suction

Roof Suction is a wind-induced aerodynamic pressure differential, acting predominantly as a negative (upward) force on a roof surface, that arises due to the acceleration of airflow over the roof geometry, thereby distinguishing it from gravitational or positive (downward) wind pressure effects in structural loading analyses.
