Riparian Flow Needs

Riparian Flow Needs is a conceptual framework within environmental flow assessment that specifies the quantity, timing, and quality of water flows required to sustain riparian ecosystems and their associated ecological functions, distinguishing it from broader environmental flow requirements by focusing explicitly on the hydrological conditions necessary to maintain riparian vegetation, sediment dynamics, and habitat integrity along river corridors.
