Ring-diagram Analysis
Ring-Diagram Analysis is a helioseismic inference method that belongs to the class of local-oscillation-velocity-field analysis techniques, distinguished by its use of three-dimensional Fourier decomposition of solar p-mode power spectra within annular regions on the Sun’s surface to infer subsurface flow structures and thermodynamic properties.
