Return Trajectory Design

Return Trajectory Design is a spacecraft trajectory design methodology that specifically governs the formulation and optimization of flight paths enabling a vehicle to travel from an interplanetary destination or orbital location back to Earth or another designated return point, distinguished from other trajectory designs by its focus on reversal of mission phase, re-entry conditions, and Earth-centered impact or capture constraints.
