Restless Spirits
Restless Spirits is a theoretical construct in the academic study of ghost stories and haunted places that denotes discarnate entities postulated to remain consciously active in the physical world due to unresolved trauma, unfulfilled duties, or violent death, thereby distinguishing it from other spiritual phenomena by its emphasis on psychological and narrative liminality.
