Responsibility To Warn

Responsibility to Warn is an ethical principle in advising ethics that obligates advisors to disclose potential harms to intended victims or authorities when a client poses a serious and imminent threat to self or others, thereby distinguishing it from general confidentiality duties by prioritizing harm prevention in specific risk-laden contexts.
