Resistivity Index
Resistivity Index is a dimensionless geophysical parameter defined as the ratio of the electrical resistivity of a rock saturated with both water and hydrocarbon to the resistivity of the same rock fully saturated with water, used to quantify the reduction in conductivity due to the presence of non-conductive pore fluids in resistivity interpretation studies.
