Repassivation Kinetics

Repassivation Kinetics is the rate process describing the reformation of a protective passive film on a metal surface within a localized corrosion site, distinguishing itself from general corrosion kinetics by focusing specifically on the temporal and mechanistic aspects of passivity restoration after film rupture in confined geometries such as crevices.
