Reliability Index Analysis

Reliability Index Analysis is a probabilistic assessment method that quantifies the safety margin of an engineering system by measuring the shortest distance from the origin to the limit state surface in standard normal space, thereby distinguishing itself from other reliability evaluation techniques through its geometric interpretation of failure probability.
