Relative Orbit Determination

Relative Orbit Determination is a method in satellite geodesy that estimates the time-varying positional and velocity relationship between two or more orbiting spacecraft by combining observational measurements with dynamical models, distinguished from absolute orbit determination by focusing on inter-satellite relative motion rather than individual trajectories with respect to Earth.
