Refractory Ore Processing

Refractory Ore Processing is a metallurgical method that specifically addresses the extraction of valuable metals from ores wherein the target metal is encapsulated within a silicate or sulfide matrix or otherwise rendered inaccessible to conventional leaching techniques, thereby requiring pre-treatment such as roasting, pressure oxidation, or bioleaching to liberate the metal for subsequent recovery.
