Reenactment Aesthetics

Reenactment Aesthetics is a methodological framework within hybrid documentary practice that systematically employs stylized, performative, and often self-reflexive recreations of historical or factual events to interrogate the boundaries between truth and representation, thereby distinguishing itself from mere illustrative reenactment through its critical engagement with the epistemological and visual conventions of documentary form.
