Recirculation Zone Stabilization

Recirculation Zone Stabilization is a flame stabilization mechanism in combustion systems whereby the anchoring and maintenance of a flame are achieved through the aerodynamic confinement of hot combustion products in a reversed flow region, distinguishing it from alternative stabilization methods that rely on thermal, chemical, or external forcing effects.
