Re-deposition

Re-Deposition is a plasma-surface interaction phenomenon in divertor design whereby sputtered or eroded material from plasma-facing components is transported and subsequently re-deposited onto nearby surfaces, often leading to localized accumulation of impurities and affecting divertor performance.
