Ranking Number

Ranking Number is a graph labeling parameter that belongs to the class of vertex coloring invariants, distinguished by its assignment of positive integers to vertices such that any path between two vertices with the same label contains at least one vertex with a higher label, thereby quantifying the minimum number of distinct ranks required for a valid ranking labeling of a graph.
