Rankin-selberg Convolution

Rankin-Selberg Convolution is a method in the theory of automorphic forms that constructs an integral representation of the L-function associated to two automorphic representations by convolving their Fourier coefficients with an Eisenstein series, thereby distinguishing itself from other L-function constructions through its use of period integrals and spectral decomposition on arithmetic quotients.
