Rain-on-snow Processes
Rain-On-Snow Processes is a snow-hydrological process encompassing the coupled energy and mass exchanges that occur when liquid precipitation falls on an existing snowpack, including the associated enhancement of snowmelt, liquid water percolation, and runoff generation that together control the hydrologic response of rain-on-snow events.
