Race Pride

Race Pride is a normative sociopolitical construct within critical race theory that denotes a collective self-affirmation of Black identity, culture, and historical agency, distinguishing itself from assimilationist or colorblind racial ideologies by centering the emancipatory value and dignity of Blackness as a foundational component of Black Nationalist and Black Power philosophies.
