R- Configuration

R-Configuration is a stereochemical descriptor that specifies the absolute configuration of a chiral center in a monosaccharide, where the arrangement of substituents follows the Cahn–Ingold–Prelog priority rules such that the sequence from highest to lowest priority proceeds in a clockwise direction when the lowest-priority group is oriented away from the observer.
