Queer Vocality
Queer Vocality is an academic construct that designates the systematic study of vocal expression as a site of gender and sexual nonconformity, distinguished from related concepts by its focus on the performative, embodied, and culturally mediated dimensions of voice that disrupt normative regimes of identity, intelligibility, and auditory perception within socio-linguistic and artistic practices.
