Queer Happiness

Queer Happiness is a theoretical construct within the field of queer affect studies that denotes the affective states and emotional practices of joy, fulfillment, and flourishing among LGBTQ+ individuals, distinguished by its resistance to heteronormative and cisnormative models of emotional life and its emphasis on the transformative, politicized dimensions of non-normative desire and relationality.
