Quasilinear Diffusion

Quasilinear Diffusion is a theoretical framework in plasma physics that describes the stochastic evolution of particle distribution functions in velocity space due to the resonant interaction with turbulent electromagnetic waves, distinguished by its linearization of the wave–particle interaction while retaining temporal nonlinearity in the averaged diffusion process.
