Quasi-harmonic Approximation

Quasi-Harmonic Approximation is a theoretical model in lattice dynamics that extends the harmonic approximation by incorporating volume-dependent phonon frequencies to account for thermal expansion, thereby enabling the prediction of temperature-dependent thermodynamic properties while neglecting explicit phonon-phonon anharmonic interactions.
