Quasi-crystals

Quasi-Crystals is a class of solid materials that possess ordered atomic structures with non-periodic translational symmetry, distinguished from conventional crystals by exhibiting long-range order without lattice periodicity, thereby violating the classical crystallographic restriction to rotational symmetries of two-, three-, four-, and six-fold.
