Quark Mixing
Quark Mixing is a quantum phenomenon in particle physics whereby the mass eigenstates of down-type quarks are superpositions of their weak interaction eigenstates, characterized by the Cabibbo–Kobayashi–Maskawa matrix, which quantifies the probability amplitudes for transitions between quark flavors via the weak force.
