Pyramid Wavefront Sensing

Pyramid Wavefront Sensing is a wavefront sensing technique that employs a refractive or reflective pyramid-shaped optical element to split an incoming beam into multiple beams whose relative intensities are measured to reconstruct the phase of the wavefront by detecting deviations from uniformity in the focal plane intensity distribution.
