Purchase Options

Purchase Option is a contractual provision in lease structures and intercreditor agreements that belongs to the class of financial covenants or rights, specifically designating the conditional right, but not the obligation, of a party to acquire an asset, claim, or ownership interest at a predetermined price and timeframe, thereby distinguishing it from mandatory acquisition clauses and other transfer mechanisms by its elective nature and specified exercise conditions.
