Psf Photometry

PSF Photometry is a method of aperture-independent photometric measurement in which the brightness of a point source is determined by fitting a model of the point spread function to the observed image data, distinguishing it from other photometric techniques by its reliance on a spatially varying empirical or theoretical PSF model to achieve high-precision flux estimation in crowded or undersampled fields.
