Pseudo-spectral Acceleration

Pseudo-Spectral Acceleration is a ground-motion intensity measure in earthquake engineering that represents the maximum acceleration response of a single-degree-of-freedom oscillator to a given seismic excitation, calculated as the product of the spectral displacement and the square of the oscillator's natural frequency, rather than being directly measured from instrumented recordings.
