Proteoform Annotation is a computational and analytical framework in top-down proteomics that identifies and characterizes distinct proteoforms by assigning accurate molecular features, including post-translational modifications and sequence variants, to mass spectrometry-derived protein signals based on high-resolution intact mass and fragmentation data.
