Protective Threshold Derivation

Protective Threshold Derivation is a methodological framework within ecotoxicology that establishes species protection levels by determining the minimum concentration of a stressor below which a specified proportion of species are expected to remain unaffected, thereby differentiating it from related approaches through its reliance on empirical species sensitivity distributions to statistically infer safe environmental thresholds.
