Propeller Behind-hull Performance

Propeller Behind-Hull Performance is a marine propulsion metric that quantifies the hydrodynamic efficiency and operational characteristics of a propeller operating in the modified flow field immediately aft of a ship’s hull, distinguishing it from open-water propeller performance by accounting for spatially non-uniform inflow, hull-induced turbulence, and cavitation effects resulting from hull-propeller interaction.
