Prompt-based Continual Learning

Prompt-Based Continual Learning is a continual learning paradigm that employs learnable or static textual prompts to condition a pre-trained model's representations, thereby enabling sequential task acquisition without modifying the model's parameters and distinguishing itself from other continual learning approaches through its reliance on input-side prompt tuning to mitigate catastrophic forgetting.
