Probability Logic is a formal system of reasoning that extends classical logic by incorporating probabilistic measures, wherein the genus is a logical framework for representing and drawing inferences from uncertain propositions, and the differentia is its use of probability theory to quantify the likelihood of propositions rather than assigning them binary truth values.
