Private Risk Pooling

Private Risk Pooling is a risk management mechanism, within the broader category of risk pooling arrangements, that specifically involves the voluntary aggregation of risks among private individuals, firms, or organizations through contractual agreements, without direct government involvement, in order to reduce individual exposure to uncertainty by leveraging the statistical benefits of a diversified risk pool.
