Principal Doctrines
Principal Doctrines is a didactic collection of forty core philosophical maxims systematically formulated by Epicurus and later explicated by his followers to articulate the foundational principles of Epicurean ethics, physics, and epistemology, distinguished from other Hellenistic ethical compendia by its concise, axiomatic structure and epistemic function as empirically grounded criteria for achieving ataraxia.
