Pressure Derivative Analysis

Pressure Derivative Analysis is a diagnostic method within pressure transient analysis that utilizes the logarithmic derivative of pressure with respect to time to enhance the identification and interpretation of flow regimes, boundary effects, and reservoir heterogeneities by accentuating subtle features in pressure falloff and drawdown tests that are less discernible in conventional pressure analysis.
