Prescriptive Easements

Prescriptive Easement is a nonpossessory right to use another’s land that arises not through express agreement or written grant, but through the continuous, open, and adverse use of the property for a statutorily prescribed period, thereby distinguishing it from other easements by its mode of acquisition via prescription.
