Prepacked Screens

Prepacked Screens is a type of downhole sand control screen in which a predetermined gravel pack is preinstalled around the base pipe and wrapped with a protective shroud, distinguishing it from other screen types by providing a controlled, factory-assembled annular packing that enhances sand retention and mitigates formation sand incursion in unconsolidated reservoirs.
