Pre-splitting

Pre-Splitting is a controlled blasting technique in rock excavation engineering that involves detonating a linear row of closely spaced, lightly charged boreholes prior to the main blast to create a continuous fracture plane, thereby minimizing damage to the surrounding rock mass and ensuring precise wall control in quarry, tunnel, and slope applications.
